About thIS EVENT:

Hosted by Ylva Mara Radziszewski, Bimbo Yaga, this Weiser Books literary salon will feature conversations and performances from both Roma & gadje (non-Roma,) centering discussions from Weiser authors and cultural stewards Lilith Dorsey, Paulina Stevens, and Jezmina Von Thiele. Come enjoy readings by Jezmina & Paulina from their debut book Secrets of Romani Fortune Telling and by Lilith from her book Orishas, Goddesses, and Voodoo Queens. Guests will be invited to submit questions for further discussion following an author panel facilitated by Bimbo Yaga. Join us as we discuss the challenges and blessings of stewarding diasporic traditions in the context of post-traditional spiritualism; amidst a new age spiritualist revivalism.  We will be hosting a ritual for the blessing and protection of our communities following the panel discussion and author meet and greet. Bring altar items to charge and bless as well as biodegradable offerings for the altar and fire.

NOTE: This is a donation based event (suggested $20-$60, NOTALF). Doors for this event are at 6:30pm, we will start the program at 7pm sharp. There will be an author meet and greet from 9pm-9:30pm. Your RSVP allows us to prepare accordingly, seating is general admission.
